Rigging is a set of measures and techniques aimed on lifting and moving a variety of heavyweight and / or oversized cargo for the purpose of their further loading / unloading.

Traditionally, rigging is used for loading or unloading oversized and heavyweight cargo, the weight, configuration and location of which makes it impossible to perform these operations using standard equipment.
